Dear Sir,
May i know whether is it ok to study the current P7 note?
When can i download for the new topic added to P7 INT?
Many thanks for your reply.
You should be ok with the old notes. I need to update them for mandatory rotation too, but the old ones are substantially ok
Sir,
i have to ask what the diferrence between the uk variant and the int variant – which one to choose?
I am in the uk at the moment but as an international student.
Please advise
thanks
Do you intend staying in the UK and applying for a practising certificate? If the answer to that is “Yes” then you need to select the UK variant.
If no, I imagine that the International variant will be more widely accepted – throughout the international World!
Hope that helps
Otherwise , in terms of syllabus is there much change between the 2?
Not that I’m aware of.
The ACCA have recently scrapped the UK variant for both F7 and F8 and it’s my belief that it’s only a matter of time before ACCA recognise that the UK is part of Europe rather than the other way round!
My guess is that before we get to 2020, the UK variants for both P2 and P7 will have disappeared
Thanks for clearing.
You mentioned practising – If i choose int variant and wants to work in an audit firm in uk – i will be able to work but not sign the report yes? or not work at all in the audit department?
Of course you’ll be able to work. It’s just that you will not succeed in obtaining a practising certificate
