    Hi john,
hope you doing good. i sat for this exam June session for the first time but sadly failed due to insufficient practice as result of workload(i was taking together with FR). i’m now planning to retake the paper in September. my question, is there any changes to syllabus for September sitting? i had planned to do practice using the kaplan that i had bought for last sitting,is it worth it to use the same kaplan in preparation for September?
    thanks

    There are three changes:

One is that there is more now on Big Data, but no calculations and this is explained in our free lecture notes.

Second is that all the syllabuses now have the addition of a section emphasising the importance on being able to deal with the computer based exam software efficiently. Again, there is a chapter on this in our free lecture notes.

Finally, although correlation and regression, and time series, have always been in the syllabus as assume knowledge from Paper MA (was F2), the are now stated separately in the syllabus. If you have forgot them then they are both explained in full in our Paper MA notes.

It is OK to use the books that you have.
