I completed my 11th paper of ACCA in 2021. I’ve been stuck with the last 2 papers for 3 years now having attempted APM, AAA, and AFM numerous times. Has anyone been in the same situation as me tell me what to do or how to gain the strength to keep trying?
October 15, 2024 at 6:06 am #712419There are lots of students in similar situations. I suggest not to flit between exams and focus on one at a time. There are many students’ accounts on how they succeeded, you need to understand why you’re failing to plan how to proceed

November 5, 2024 at 9:17 pm #713044I am sorry to hear that you are struggling. Solely from this thread, it is difficult to know how closely you had failed your exams in AAA/APM/AFM.
It might be worthwhile to understand on which area you had faced most difficulties when answering questions, and focus on that area to make an improvement.
Taking more mock paper and having them marked or reviewed by someone else might be a good starting point, in case the question differs from what you might have expected.
For instance, I really hate the language bank terms used by ACCA, because I find them very vague, unclear and pointless, because in reality, you will need to give the most details. Even looking at the worked examples don’t helo from time to time.
December 5, 2024 at 7:47 am #713903I attempted SBR Today and the exam went great from my end.
I really want to ask one thing.I have been pursuing ACCA for so long and now I just want to finish it. I have already attempted AFM earlier and was not able to clear that, however, I do have the knowledge. moreover, I am thinking that I should study SBL and ATX with it and take a month leave in February and attempt all exams together
Do you think it’s feasible.

I know I advised you previously about sitting two exams at a time https://opentuition.com/topic/afm-and-sbr-together
Many students will agree, ACCA is “a marathon not a sprint” and if you try to sprint to the finish line, the more exams you sit together, the more you are likely to fail
I specifically advise against sitting ATX for the first time in a March session, because if you do have to resit in June, it will be a new Finance Act, etc.
