UN model laws are an example of which of the following:
1- International criminal law
2- Public international law
3- Private international law
The answer is 3.
But in the kaplan book it reads “Examples of public international law were given above. They include the UN Model law on Arbitration and the UN Model law on International Credit transfers.
Does this seem contradictory?
On the basis that these Model Laws are designed to resolve disputes between international contracting parties, my understanding is that they are private law, not public
OK?
