I’ve been taught how to do a cash flow statement in accordance with IAS7, but I need to do the UK paper.

Can I do the statement in the same format as IAS7, and just start with operating profit, or do I need to do it in the format I see on past exam answers?

I imagine that you should do it in accordance with what you see on past exam papers! Sorry 🙁

Thanks for the reply. It would seem I do need to present the cash flow in accordance with FRS1 which means I need eight headings instead of three.

It’s strange how the BPP and Kaplan study texts have miss this out!
