I have just downloaded (and printed) the course notes on here for F7 but after realising they were for the international syllabus! I will be studying the UK syllabus, can i still use the notes for study or are they worthless??

Hi Will, head on over to the ‘Ask the tutor’ forum for F7- it’s been asked there and it seems there are differences…. in one post Mr Little (presumably the author of the notes) says he hasn’t looked at the UK exam for 10 years.

But in another post ( this one ) the same Mr Little is under the impression that the UK is slowly adopting IFRS and that a revision kit will repeat only a handful of answers to satisfy the needs of the UK students. The major publishers ( I believe ) are printing only one version of the study text and only one version of the revision kit.

At the end of each chapter, there’s likely to be a brief note reconciling the international notes to the few peculiarities that still exist within the UK

And anyway, how can you dismiss those course notes as “worthless”? I’m deeply hurt!

    🙂
