Resubmission Queries

Yes you need a Resubmission statement and you need to address the marker feedback -look at my answer on the Resubmission forum as I have made suggestions with regard to the SLS. You may find that you need to load the PowerPoint Presentation file to be able to complete the submission (but if you passed this previously just upload that file).

I assume your previous password would still be valid but obviously this is really a question that only a resubmitting student who has already uploaded their report can answer accurately – or just try it and see what happens 🙂

New rules apply from P32 onwards and there is a,restriction on which companies you can use for T8 & T15 as they have to fall within certain industry sectors. OBU will be announcing these sectors I believe on 1st Dec so you will have to wait until then to choose your company. As for the years it will depend when the annual report is published. Please consult the Info Pack about the new changes and date rules (essentially the latest statements are those published before 1Feb 2015)

The company selection rule only applies to T8 & T15 – all other topics are unaffected. I expect anyone who is resubmitting will be allowed to keep their previous company but that will not apply to ACO zero grade cases if you have been told you have to change topic /company as you will have to choose a company from the prescribed sector

@vinessen – any company or comparator that is used must publish its accounts in English and they must also usually be publicly available (e.g. on the internet). Normally private companies do not publish their accounts to non-shareholders but if you can get a copy of them then you can always reproduce them and include them with your submission (but remember their are file size limits for submission)

Other information about the company should also be available on the internet so that markers can ascertain that the company does exist and the data has not been fabricated (obviously this is no problem when using a plc).

Bad luck on that one as it is an expensive mistake. Do some figures relating to EPS calculations or something like that and a graph on a spreadsheetand that should be sufficient.

You don’t have to rewrite the whole report but you will probably find that it needs to be uploaded as far as a resubmission is concerned as technically you haven’t passed the report.

To be on the safe side I would include the new EPS graph in the report too!

You still have to have someone to sign off your work -supplying their details is required when you submit. Normally a decent previous mentor will accept that you will be using their details but you should as a common courtesy ask them first.

Hi,
I failed OBU RAP in period 49 and want to re-submit. I read the information packs and said that I no need to use the latest financial statements but my mentor said better use the latest one. Please advise what should I do?
Then, I failed in “Application of accountancy/business models” “Evaluation of information, analysis and conclusions” “Information gathering and referencing” these 3 parts. Would I need to amend Part 1 & 2 of the report?
