Hawk Co operates a business which is registered to account for sales tax. During the sales tax return period for the three months to 30 June 20X5, Hawk Co had sales tax inputs which exceeded sales tax inputs.
What is the sales tax position of Hawk Co?
A Hawk Co will receive a repayment of net input tax
B Hawk Co will need to pay net input tax to the tax authority
C The tax authority will decide what amount of sales tax Hawk Co will need to pay
D The tax authority will decided what amount of sales tax Hawk Co will be repaid

This line of the question is confusing for me. “Hawk Co had sales tax inputs which exceeded sales tax inputs.” Is this typing error? What should be correct line to replace this? Please kindly explain sir.
There is indeed a typing error. The line should read “Hawk had sales tax inputs which exceeded sales tax outputs”.
