    Hi there,

    This is my 4th attempt at P5 and would like to know which tuition provider is best? Tried Kaplan in the last 4 sittings but not sure BPP is better? (they only do 3 days rather than 4 by Kaplan)

    Any advise is much appreciated 🙂

    Thanks

    @anumohan
    Revision with lectures should be good decision, but it seems that you need to practice more prior to revision lectures with approved provoders.
    Practice A LOT of past exam questions. Read examiners’ reports and articles!

    Good luck 🙂

    @anumohan,

    My second attempt of paper P5 has taught me a great lesson & that is: the level of lecture, revision notwithstanding, you’ve got to be able to think on your feet on the exam day. You’ve got be on top of your game. To be honest, and in my own case, nothing new has been examined these past 3 sittings but the ability to interpret questions and to come up with something reasonable within the allotted time is what matters.

    My advise, for those areas that are not yet clear, please seek guidance. Most importantly, familiarize yourself with the new examiner approach, the guy is distinct from the last examiner. It doesn’t require you to do much calculation, as a matter of fact, he does virtually all the calculations for you. The ability to interpret presented report matters here. Questions from 2010 sittings are a typical exams from Alex the examiner.

    Everything about paper p5 come down to how you’re able to think outside the box on the exam day.

    All the best friend.

    No tuition provider can provide you more motivation than you could provide yourself by being current and up-to-date on performance measurements in practical business scenarios, wide reading on the models and lots of PYQ revisions. Get into the mind of Alex Watt as he structures his exam questions, and think yourself like a McKinsey or BCG consultant.

    The study text could help you get that 50% pass mark, but aren’t you hungry for even more than a mere pass mark? 🙂
