    Hi There,

I have my management accounting ACCA exam coming up in a couple of weeks and while I understand the sections of the exam and the content covered I’m having real problems remembering what the Formulas on the formulae sheet you get given in the exam actually mean when they aren’t annotated to be non algebraic!

I’m also finding it tough to remember the formulas for things needed in the exam that we don’t get on the formulae sheet such as the equations for Liquidity, Profitability and other such ratios!

Have you got any advice as this seems to be a real sticking point for me when doing mocks. When I understand what figures I’m needing to put into the formulas the questions are asking about I get the answers right, but without them I seem to be getting them mixed or not knowing which to use!

I seem to practice one section over and over and get that in my head then I cant seem to remember the ones I previously worked on in my previous revision sessions!

Any advice, Tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I wish I could give you an easy solution but I am afraid that I cannot.

All you can do is keep practicing questions and spending time learning the symbols.

Sorry not to be able to give any more help on this.
