    Dear Sir,

    Are Treasury Department roles same as Financial Management?

    Like Management of Cash.. investment, liquidity, exchange rate and so on? or they are different?

    It is part of the financial management role.

    The treasury function is to manage cash and to manage risk.

    Have you not downloaded our Lecture Notes? The treasury function is explained in the last chapter.

    No – it is not usually their responsibility. Their responsibility is primarily to look after the cash and deal with foreign exchange risk.
