Good day Sir,
So regarding capacity limitation ques….
since X takes 5hrs hours and Y 10 hrs which is twice the time of X…..so it means two units of X can be made in place of one unit of Y….I would have assumed that the lost contribution would have been 2 times 4 making the lost contribution $ 8….clarify please thank you.

I assume you mean the question in our free lecture notes, in which case the lost contribution per hour is 20/5 = $4 per hour. Y needs 10 hours, so the total lost contribution is 10 x $4 = $40 per unit.
It seems as though you may be using the lecture notes without watching the free lectures. There is no point at all in using the lectures notes without watching the lectures, because it is in the lectures that I explain and expand on the notes – they are lecture note.
If you are not watching the lectures for any reason, then you must buy a Study Text from one of the ACCA approved publishers and study from there if you want to be able to pass the exam.
