    If an item of plant has been transferred from the parent to the sub on date of acquisition, will this have an effect on the Goodwill due to the Fair Value of those assets being included on the Net assets at acquisition of the sub?

    I imagine that a question specifically says something like “Immediately after the acquisition …”

    The transferring of assets on the date of acquisition is to test your understanding of the elimination of the pup and the resultant adjustment to the depreciation charge
