Sir as we know that credit purchase of non current asset is entered in journal. So my question is that an account for credit supplier is made on Payable ledger. If yes, so how do we do control account reconcilation with payable ledger as Purchase daybook would be lacking info about Credit Purchase of NCA and Payable ledger includes the account of supplier.
Thank You in advance.
If the purchase of the NCA was recorded through the journal then there will be a credit to the payables ledger Control Account but there must also be a credit to the supplier’s account in the payables ledger………scope for things not to agree if one of these entries is forgotten!
Thank you sir
