I am using an old 2009/2010 text book so my question is regarding the trading losses for indivisuals. Do these reliefs s83 ita 2007 – carry forward against future trading profit, s64 ita 2007 – relief against total income, s72 ita 2007 – opening year loss relief against total income, s89 ita 2007 – terminal loss relief against previous trading profits.. Do these still apply? have they added more ? or removed some?

    thanks in advance

It is the extended carryback that has been removed for FA2010. Also you dont need the section numbers

Hi Guys, I have two doubts about F6 paper.
    1) Do we need to mention case law or section number in exams.
    2) Can we carry legislation books (reffered as YELLOW Books in Association of Taxation Technicians exam) for exams.

    geesh , man ,

in exam you won’t have time to look at the cover of those books, not saying about the time to open it and list pages.

All rates and allowances are provided.

Case caw in F6? No need for it at all. And surely u don’t need to know any section numbers.

as for books, never saw anyone having any books on his table during exam. I guess it is rather not allowed.
