    am bit in doubt sir; i came across two different methods of calculating factoring and each of the methods gave me a different decision making. can you please elaborate on the methods of calculating factoring for me?

    I do not know what you mean by ‘two different methods’.

    There is only ever one final answer to a question on factoring, but how you show your calculations is, as always, irrelevant.

    Have you watched my free lectures on this? The lectures are a complete free course for Paper FM and cover everything needed to pass the exam well. The approach that I use in the example on factoring in the lecture is valid for any factoring question.
