what would be the net benefit of spending extra

The answer is B, but to my understanding,the information provided is not enough to answer the question.
the question is on BPP Revision kit Dec, 2011-Dec 2012 page 105.

I do not have that Revision Kit, but if you have typed the question correctly then there is certainly not enough information.
I would suggest that you get a current edition of the Revision Kit – the format of the exam is now different that it was.
