Under Novus actus interveniens the defendants will not be liable for damage when the chain of events is broken, could you please explain whether the defendant would not be liable to pay full amount of damages or the defendant would be limited to the amount of damages caused because of his negligence.
A subsequent novus actus frees the initial wrongdoer from liability!
