I’m definitely using a SWOT but does the requirement of competitive pressures above mean that a Porters is absolutely needed over a PESTLE?

The opportunities and threats section of SWOT focuses on external factors so no, PESTLE isn’t needed.

I wouldn’t say I’m really good at Porters though so it’s nice to keep my options open.
