Hi everyone, I am planning on giving TX in the March’19 attempt. I have the 2017-2018 edition of kaplan study text, i was wondering would that be fine to use as I am aware that the Finance Act is 2017 which will be tested in the march’19 attempt.
Also has anyone taken BPP or Kaplan Online classes for TX would they be of any help?

Please if anyone can help, i would be very grateful.

For most exams it is possible to “get away” with old edition materials providing you look at the current syllabus and fill in any gaps. But NOT for tax. Tax is highly computational, the rules are detailed, and each Finance Act changes the rates and allowances – and can also change the approach to a computation – e.g. if new thresholds are brought in or old ones removed.

I would strongly recommend you use current edition (June 2018 – March 2019) materials for your preparation.
