Throughput vs contribution

When will throughput be used and when will contribution be used, whenever there are limiting factors, I always mistakenly use throughput/hr instead of contribution/hr when ranking which products to make first and vice versa

If the question wants you to use throughput accounting then it will specify this. If not, then it is always standard contribution analysis.
