If there is a bottleneck resource of 4000 hours and there are 3 products to be made. The first ranked and 2nd ranked products are made within 3000 hours leaving 1000 hours for rank 3 product. And the demand for product 3 is for example 300 units and it’s taking only 600 hours leaving 400 for nothing. what do we do in those 400 hours? if the demands are full filled for each product?. If the demands are full filled, is it to assume there is no bottleneck resource?

If this is an actual question you are quoting, then it does seem a bit strange for it to occur in an exam question – it makes me wonder if you have typed out all of the question correctly.
March 28, 2019 at 5:28 pm #510722No it wasn’t, I was just wondering “what if” the demands are satisfied. Thank you.
