The audit firm is a business (typically a partnership) that offers audit and other assurance services, accountancy, tax, etc. The audit team is the group of people who work on a specific audit assignment – e.g. a partner (the engagement partner), audit manager, audit senior(s), audit junior(s)/trainee(s).
