the ordinary share dividend of 0.20 sen is just about to be paid. The current market value is 1.60 for each ordinary shares.
May I know the dividend is just about to be paid is considered as a proposed dividend OR paid dividend?
if is proposed dividend, to calculate ex-price, will be 1.60-0.20? right?
thanks
If the dividend is about to be paid, then it certainly not a paid dividend.
The ex-div price will indeed be 1.40 in your example.
