Dear John Moffat,
I have done the Sep exam and I am worried I have lost many points, so can you explained to me the way ACCA give student mark.
When calculating the Combine value of 2 company we need to know the FCE of each compnay.
But I calculating wrong the FCFE of one company and this lead to the wrong value of combined company, and this lead to wrong the benefit from combined company and the remaing of my answer are wrong base on the first uncorrect figure.
So do I get any marks if I do the correct method with the first wrong figure.
Thank you so much.September 11, 2018 at 8:37 am #472583You do not lose marks twice for the same mistake, and every step of your workings is marked separately.
You will lose marks for calculating the wrong FCFE, but you can still get full marks for the rest of the question if you did things correctly using your figure.
