    Hi

I have recently started my RAP on topic 8 and I am trying to understand the distinction between the above.

Would you agree that I am right to say:

The research objectives are the specific things we want to find in the report, related to the topic chosen. Headed by infinitive verbs: to identify, to analyse, to evaluate etc.

    And

The research questions are the specific questions that we ask in order to achieve our research objectives. Headed by interrogative words: why, what, where, when etc.

The research questions, therefore follow directly on from the research objectives.

    Thanks

    Kevin

    Hi Kevin

Yes, you are right. Project objectives will be the focus of the project and will take your research into a certain direction.

The project objectives will help you with answering the more detailed reserach questions.

    Hi

Concerning topic 8, is it necessary to compare my ratios for the 3-years with another entity in the same industry. And if yes, can the comparison with the industry be done for the last year in my analysis instead for the 3 years.

    Thanks a lot.

    @kevin
research question: How well the company has performed financially and business wise?
Aims and Objectives: How your research question would be solved.
    1. By Financial analysis: ratios, peer group
    2. Business analysis: SWOT, PESTEL, Porter 5 forces.

@Dany Yes compare the ratios for three years of two competing organizations. If you are also comparing to the over all industry (national scale) then do it in summarized manner.(by tables and graphs) In the end you will have to assume the role of a barber. (You will have to trim the whole stuff to bring word count to 7500).
    buona fortuna
