if non-current asset purchase on credit
this transaction will be recorded on day books or journal??There is no rule – it could be recorded in either.
If it was something that happened often, then it would probably be in the day book (and the day book would have a column for non-current assets in order to distinguish for doing the postings). If it didn’t happen often then it would probably be recorded in the journal instead.
