Bacisly I didnt understand much, except the role of House of Lord is been transferred to New Supreme court. Is that mean that now the Supreme court is approving the draft bill and responsible for the appeals as before or now the roles are distingushed.

roles distinguished – the House of Lords, the upper House of Parliament – approves bills in the process of them becoming law. the Supreme Court ( used to be called the House of Lords ( confusing! ) now acts in a judicial capacity whereas the House of Lords acts in a legislative capacity. there used to be 12 “Law Lords” who were both acting judicially in the highest UK court ( called the House of Lords ) and they also were involved in passing legislation in the upper house – The House of Lords! They no longer sit in the upper chamber and their role is now purely judicial
