Dear Mike,
I tried the following questions from your mock MCQ, would you tell me is there any differences between these 2 question?
1.When a public company wishes to pass an ordinary resolution at an”other general meeting” to appoint a
director celebrating her 72nd birthday how many days’ notice should normally be given? 21 days
2.When a public company wishes to pass an ordinary resolution at an”other general meeting” to appoint a
director celebrating her 57th birthday how many days’ notice should normally be given? 14 days
Best regards
Ann
Both correct
Sure, is that because, appointed a director age 72 as re-elected by AGM but 57th is new appointments
No, it’s because 57 is younger than the age where special notice is required to pass the ordinary resolution
I see, thanks Mike!
You’re welcome
