Thanks for the brillliant lectures on the consols. I followed the workings you presented and I found myself more organised in the exam. I got some odd numbers alright but I reckon ‘own figure marking’ will save me. I did the workings first like you said and it was so much easier than when I did F7 in June.

I’m not saying I definitely passed but I felt better coming out of the exam than I did in June. I left 2 parts unanswered in June worth 7 marks so I promised myself this morning that whatever happened I would attempt every part. I did it – just. My last part was the SOCIE which was funny because it was 2 minutes to 1.15 when I started and I was just throwing numbers in everywhere.

If I pass f7 today I’ll have one more exam – P2. Bizarrely I passed the 4 professional exams I did first attempt but I have been struggling with F7 for years. Maybe this time. Hope to see you in P2 Mike. Many thanks
