Hi everyone.
I’m new to ACCA and going to take my F1, F2 and F3 exams in next year (2019). I have recently come across an selling post on Facebook for F1, F2 and F3 BPP Textbooks but they were published in Jan 2016. Should I go ahead and get those 2016 editions as I’m not sure whether they can still be used for exams in mid 2019?
Cheers
Technical content of F1 (now AB) and F2 (now MA) will have changed very little but F3 (now FA) could mislead on specific topics due to changes in IFRS. They may also be focused on sitting paper-based exams rather than on-demand CBE.
Also make sure that these are hard copies of books for sale and not pirated softcopy.
If you take a look at the OpenTuition resources available to you will see that rather than invest in buying old texts you will have sufficient study material available to you that you need only supplement with an up-to-date revision kit/question bank from an Approved content provider.
Other than notes and up-to-date revision books, do you recommend me to get the mock CBE test on ACCA website? Thanks.
