Dear Sir,
I am going to sit for exams in March for F5 and F8 and i am going to do self study for both of them. Could you please help me out with some queries. I have seen here everyone saying BPP is the perfect books for self studying for anyone in the world but i want to make sure before buying a text book from a library although i must use all lectures based on notes and take every opportunity from here Open Tuition to prepare for the exams.
Which acca approved study text BPP or Kaplan will be best for self studying in terms of explanation of a topic in details and which one will be easier to understand in quicker time for self studying.
And Exam kit which one Bpp or Kaplan will be suitable and more updated for March 2016 exams session in Bangladesh for self studying.
There is one more thing please ensure me, I know that from F4 to P7 every papers has different variant according to the country nation in throughout thet world, Therefore could you please make sure me which varriant do i need to follow for F5 and F8 for syllabus and guide, and practice year questions such as global, International or UK based variant as i am studying acca in Bangladesh.

ChowdhuryThere are no variants for F5 and F8. Both BPP and Kaplan produce books that are fine (also Becker). Get text and revision kits from the same supplier. Kits are essential. Many students do without a text and use OT resources only.
