Sir,
I have the APM text book and revision kit that was relevant for the period September 2018 to June 2019. Do i need to purchase a new set of books for the September 2019 sitting or are the old books okay. I ask this as i was told that a few areas of the syllabus have changed.
Also, throughout the ACCA exams, i have relied exclusively on the open tuition notes along with a Kaplan exam question kit. I have used the study text book only for reference of concepts that i feel i am weak in. Please let me know if you believe this strategy is effective at the professional level as well, or do you recommend a more in depth reading of the entire study text.
Your response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
July 12, 2019 at 8:02 am #522701Tha changes are that a few areas have been added: cloud technology, knowledge management and customer relationship management.
These are relatively small and are covered in our notes, so a new text book and revision kit is not needed.
Your strategy of using our notes and lectures and then using Kaplan’s or BPP’s revision kit (20% discount when ordered through this site) is fine. Question practice is very important in this paper.
Also, read ACCA’s technical articles and their latest past exams that might not be in your kit.
