I just realized that ive been studying from an F4 English text whilst opting to do the global exam. Is there a major difference between the F4 English text and F4 global text?
Hmmm – well, yes, there is! There’s very little knowledge of contract law required in Global variant and there’s a whole load of stuff needed to be known about international conventions and international trade
There’s around 50% – 60% commonality between the two variants. If you can get 90% of the English law right (90% x 50 marks = 45 marks) and guess the Global answers (you have basically a 1 in 4 chance of getting those right – sometimes even a 50/50 chance) then you can still pass the paper. But that means that you have to be RED HOT with your English law
Alright then thank you. I guess I have to find a global text and read the whole thing over. I’ve done the exam and failed (with a score just below 50) because I’ve been reading the english text and sitting the global exam…
Then why not enter for the English variant next for your retake!? That will save you money buying an unnecessary global text
