Hello! My questions is for the details of the answers that we should provide for a question related to test of controls. Is one control enough or we should provide full explanation as in the sample answers? For example – GRNs are sent to purchase order clerk who matches to the order and changes the status to completed. Test of control:

1st option – Review the copy with purchasing clerk and review for evidence that these are matched to orders and flagged as completed.

2nd option – Review the copy with purchasing clerk and review for evidence that these are matched to orders and flagged as completed. Review file for unfulfilled orders and discuss the status with clerk.

Will the 1st option gain me the full mark or should write more details as in 2nd option?

    Thank you.

1st option is a test in itself and therefore 1 mark.
To also review a file for unfilled orders is another test – so that is also a mark.
