Can anyone tell me the format of termination payment? How it is calculated?
And moreover, can anyone solve this example.
An employee is paid termination payment of £87,000 which includes statutory redundancy payment of £34,000. Notice period payment is of £23,000 and rest is exgratia. This person has received a salary of £12,000 during the year. Compute income tax liability.
