Hi,
under the acceptance of new engagement and continuance, the lecturer mentioned “the client outgrown the auditor.” alongside the integrity of the client and the firm’s ability. would you please explain what the term “client outgrown the auditor” means?
Something about the client…. e.g. the nature of the business, location of operations …. has changed/expanded such that the auditor no longer has the competence/resources/expertise to service the audit.
ooh got it. thanks
You’re very welcome!
