Hi,
I’m now practising past exam questions… There are many questions like “Identify and explain five key controls” etc… Usually there are more which can be picked up from the question, but may be I’m picking up some which are not correct. So the question is if I’m writing seven Key Controls from which 2 are wrong, will I still get the maximum score as the other 5 were correct? I’m just thinking is it wirth to spend time and write some more just in case some others are wrong?
Thank you!
The published answers will generally include more points than are asked for – but if you are asked for only five you MUST give only five. Especially if you are sitting CBE it is easy to jot down your ideas in the template – so if you are asked for 5 key controls but can easily think of 7 – choose those for which you can describe the best test of control (or whatever the is asked for in the remainder of the requirement).
Similarly – if asked for 8 audit risks and auditor’s response – select those risks for which you can come up with a good auditor’s response.
