I’ve come across comments for previous papers where a user has mentioned that x was talked about in one of the ACCA technical articles which they published. From what I can tell, the articles cover the entire course so am I missing something apart from the articles being useful in helping you understand a particular area?
Thanks.
I am not sure that I understand what you are writing.
The articles are certainly all worth reading, but they are not the entire course by any means.
Sorry I don’t mean the entire course but it seems to mention a lot of what is mentioned in the course notes, and obviously doesn’t go in to as much detail.
For example, looking at performance measurement, the technical articles cover:
– Balanced scorecard
– Building block model
– Decentralisation/Performance indicators like ROI/RI
– Transfer pricing
– Not for profit organisations
From what I can see it’s covered a lot in the above. Only areas I can think of that are missing are types of information systems and information requirements (strategic, tactical or operational).
Just an observation really.
