From where did he get the 0.5 please?
It would help if you said which 0.5 you are referring to!!! 🙂
If you mean the 0.5 in example 2 (which is also used in the further examples) it is because under example 2 it says that half (i.e. 0.5) of the earnings are retained and half are distributed.
