Sir, is it a good Accounting practice to report or publish accounts with profit before tax ( reporting or accounting profit )? Knowing fully that the tax authorities will base their tax calculations on the taxable profit.
The problem with tax authorities and their rules is that those rules change each year according to successive governments’ own taxation policies
At least, with accounting rules there is some degree of stability that would be lost were we to follow the taxation base route
