Hello, I am about to start studying for ACCA qualification, after accepting 4 excemptions. I plan to self study for TAX initially. I wanted to ask what kind of tax should i study? MY country’s tax or UK? If its my country’s where would I find the right books, texts, past papers etc..? Thank you!
September 22, 2020 at 7:06 am #586357Download the syllabus and study guide for your country by selecting your country from here:
https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f6/syllabus-study-guide.htmlTowards the end of the document you should find a “reading list” to direct you to resources. You should check out the availability and cost and also suitability. You really don’t want to be studying for a TX exam using only a “tax code”, for example. In particular you should be looking for a source of past exam question practice as those available on ACCA’s www are not updated for changes in tax legislation. It may be that you have to attend a course to have access to most up-to-date materials.
