Hi, Tutor.
I’m confused with the tax suffered at source. i’m not sure if because dividends is greater than the profit, the tax suffered at source will appear or its because of another situation will the tax suffered will appear.
Basically, im kinda lost at that point. Please help. Thank youu
Think you maybe are lost as not sure I understand your question either and whether you are talking about income tax or corporation tax? Further, in respect of dividends there is NO tax suffered at source!
So what is tax suffered at source and when or where does it appear?
I tried just googling the term itself, but it appeared to be unfruitful.
I stumbled on that term attempting a question in the September 2016 exam, Section C.
If you are attempting past exam questions you must not use the ACCA website as these are out of date answers where the rules were different – you must buy an exam / revision kit from one of the approved providers for FA 2016
The only income tax now suffered at source in F6 is PAYE
