Good Morning,
What happens if the question asked is, What is the Target Cost of a certain product, but mistakenly, the candidate calculates the Target Cost Gap.
Will marks be rewarded for understanding the concept but not answering what was asked ..? Say out of 2 marks, how much would the candidate be awarded?

If is a Section A multiple choice question then if the answer is wrong you get zero marks.
In Section B you get marks for understanding and for the workings, so although you would obviously not get full marks you would certainly get a mark if the target cost was calculated correctly.
