The ‘EXAMINABLE DOCUMENTS SEPTEMBER 2016 UNTIL AUGUST 2017’ say that for the law of obligations, you need to know of:

    Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977
Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 a
and the Consumer Rights Act 2015

The first two, okay, I know them. But the latter aka the 2015 act, I haven’t come across it in the BPP book (it’s up to Aug 2016, so maybe that’s why), in the OT notes downloaded from this website and neither the syllabus! What’s up with that?

    Dear tutor,
Will you please confirm whether this act really will appear in the paper or not?
If yes, then will you also quickly tell me whether I should google it or just move on?

    Thanks.

If you’re doing the global variant then the existing notes should be ok for you

If you’re not sure, by all means Google it and have a quick browse through but, even if it comes up in the exam, it’s not likely to be more than 2 marks

Well, I’m doing the English variant, CBE style.
And I’ve done a quick google, to be on the safe side.

Thank you for the help! 🙂
