Hi sir, sorry to keep asking about the syllabus for September 2020 exam. Initially you said there is only a new ED/2019/6 Disclosure of Accounting Policies (Proposed amendments to IAS 1 and IFRS Practice Statement 2)

But I viewed the examinable documents on the ACCA website yesterday and I found another new area that were not part of the march exam which are now tested in the September 2020 exam.

ED/2019/5 Deferred Tax related to Assets and Liabilities arising from a single transaction (Proposed amendments to IAS12

So, can I conclude that these are the only 2 new areas I need to take note of for the upcoming exam ?

Moreover, the fact that exams in September 2020 will be based on june 2020 syllabus only applies to selected exams, not all exams right? Variants which are offered four times a year will still continue to follow standard syllabus, which means Sept 2020 SBR exam will follow the Sept 2020 syllabus am I right ?

You are right about the deferred tax point.

But bear in mind that current issues are a very minor aspect of the syllabus now.

Re variant exams – you would need to clarify that with the ACCA.
