    Hi,
Would like to ask is there a changes in f7 syllabus for 2013? Is there any problem if I decide self study by using the 2012 June notes for 2013 June exam?

    Hi Jessie

I’m not aware of any changes to F7 syllabus since last year – but of course you could check that for yourself from the ACCA website

I’ve made some minor adjustments to the F7 course notes so you would be well advised to use those rather than the 2012 edition. But, if that’s a problem, you should be ok using last year’s course notes

    Hi Mike,
Furthermore, i would also like to ask it is the following changes apply to this coming 2013 acca june f7(int) exam?
The following table shows the changes:
    Old term New term
Income statement Statement of profit or loss
Statement of comprehensive income Statement of profit or loss and other comprehensive income

I found this in following link: https://www.accaglobal.com/content/dam/acca/global/PDF-students/2012s/sa_feb13_ACCA_changes.pdf

    Hi Jessie

Yes, and the link also says that the new terms will be applied from 2013.

I honestly don’t think there will be a question which says “What is the new title for the statement previously called Income Statement”?”

And, given that I use abbreviations widely in my answers, I don’t think I’m ever likely to find myself writing “Statement of Profit or Loss and Other Comprehensive Income” – ever!

    OK?
