    Hello,

I need a little bit of help with the syllabus changes. I have access to the BPP study materials valid upto March 2023 and also the latest kaplan books. While I know that the changes to syllabus have been minimal from Sept2023- 2024, I can’t seem to find clairty on whether the March version would be too out of date as the changes that happened subsequent to that sitting seem to be mostly about the exam structure.
The reason I am in this predicament is because I’ve used BPP for all my other papers and I’m comfortable with so I won’t let it go without a fight. I would really appreciate your opinion on whether it would be stupid of me to use the March 2023 version ?

    Thank you!

The syllabus content changes are minimal. As you say, it is the structure of the exam (primarily the availability of pre-seen material) where there are significant changes.

You are safe to use the BPP materials valid for March 2023.

Remember, question practice is the key to success in this exam. I suggest you don’t methodically read through the BPP text as you might place your emphasis on learning rather than doing questions and solving problems. Our notes are more succinct, so start with them (and our lecture) then progress to questions. Refer to the BPP text selectively if you need more information on a topic.
