Surplus: if a minimum quantity of a resource must be used and at the optimal solution, more than that quantity is used, there is a surplus on the minimum requirement.
Can anybody give us an example of this?? I am reviewing exercise 14 of BPP revision and I dont understand how the definition applies to the case (‘this will only apply to dry cleaning services’ ???)
