Thank you so very much John, for the suggested answers, and for everything that Open Tuition provides for us all.
June 2, 2015 at 7:53 pm #252142Hi John,
Just wanted to say that I have been self studying for the F5 exam. I found your lectures to be very understandable and enjoyable especially for such a tough topic. Thanks for putting up the suggested answers, I’ve compared to what I did and feel confident that I have passed this exam. Very much appreciated to you and open tuition for making these resources so readily available.
June 2, 2015 at 11:09 pm #252219Hi John
I really appreciate all of your replies over the last few months.
Thanks for putting your suggested answers up as this has made me relax a bit now.
If only we could get Part A….Chloe 🙂
June 3, 2015 at 12:12 am #252227Thanks John for some brilliant tuition, even if I pass, I will check back, out of interest, later in the year to see your lecture on this exam 🙂
June 3, 2015 at 1:02 am #252236Thank you sir
June 3, 2015 at 7:00 am #252270Thanks for the comments 🙂
June 3, 2015 at 12:27 pm #252436I can’t find them as well…could someone please tell me where to find them?
June 3, 2015 at 3:06 pm #252486Have you tried the links in the earlier message above?
There is a link from those pages that says “Download ACCA F5 June 2015 suggested answers”
June 4, 2015 at 1:16 pm #253016Obviously I can’t see your exam and therefore don’t know how clear your workings were or exactly what you wrote.
However, as far as part (a) is concerned, I would be very surprised if you lost more than 1 mark.
For part (b) you will still potentially get full marks provided you wrote sensibly about the answer that you got for part (a) – you do not lose marks twice for the same mistake.
June 4, 2015 at 1:38 pm #253034You are welcome 🙂
June 8, 2015 at 12:57 am #255003i have calculated the planning and operational variance by calculating the revised standard time per unit of 1000th unit … and then calculated the planning and operational variance…
now i want to know that if there is any possibilities to assume that examiner will assume my calculation is right…because i have seen in the text book that efficiency variance can not be calculated without having a standard time per unit.hope u will replay as soon as u can…
thank you sir….June 8, 2015 at 6:30 am #255023mdarfansary: You must ask this sort of question in the Ask the Tutor Forum. I am sure you would still get some marks.

June 8, 2015 at 12:26 pm #255069Md Mohiuddin Robel:
I beg your pardon? You do not give orders on this website!!
(and there is not much point in asking about F9 in the F5 forum)June 9, 2015 at 10:00 pm #255812JUNE 2015
Section B: question 3 PLANNING AND OPERATIONAL VARIANCE
i have calculated the planning and operational variance by calculating the revised standard time per unit of 1000th unit … and then calculated the planning and operational variance…
now i want to know that is there any possibilities to assume that examiner will assume my calculation is right…because i have seen in the text book that efficiency variance can not be calculated without having a standard time per unit.
5 marks was allocated for this part.
and if the examiner assumes my calculation is wrong… then, is there any possibilities that the examiner will give 50% marks. because i have calculated the planning efficiency variance as ORIGINAL hr VS REVISED hr based on the time of 1000th unit.
and operational efficiency variance calculated as REVISED hr VS ACTUAL hr
